Finding a Yoga Retreat
Yoga Retreats can be very addicting. What's not to love? They are held in beautiful locations with like-minded people, you get to focus on your yoga practice and give back to your body in a way no office chair will ever give back to you. Best of all? The only planning you have to do is to find the right retreat. It is usually recommend going to a yoga retreat taught by a teacher you already know and like. This way you know what to expect and best of all the friendships you make can continue in your hometown. If you don't have that luxury my next suggestion is finding a retreat that is in a style of yoga you like and are comfortable with. If you're not a fan of Bikram, don't go on a Bikram retreat! Go on a retreat by yourself, it leaves you open to meeting new people and gives you the opportunity to do something truly just for you! It's a way to step off the road and slow down to a stop.
